Today is the last day of the sugar detox for our office. We hope you were able to participate. If so, I would like to hear from you about the results. In my case, it was a rewarding experience, and I will explain what happened.

After 4 weeks of almost no sugar, I came to realize several things that I had been missing or was not aware of.
1. I had no idea that the first week I would have withdrawal symptoms. Mainly headaches, fatigue, and lots of weird cravings.
2. I lost about 5 pounds, and it was mainly around the belly. YEAH!
3. I slept much better. Didn’t have to get up as much at night.
4. After the first week I felt more energetic.
5. I noticed a slight skin improvement-softer and less wrinkled???
6. I realized that I really need to pay better attention to reading the labels. I found sugar in things that I never would have thought would have sugar-Like sugar in Morton’s salt!!!!
7. I realized that it really is hard to stick to the American Heart Association recommendation of only 6 grams of sugar per day. When you really become a label reader, you realize that almost everything in a container will have sugar. There is sugar in-
8. + bread, milk, orange juice, crackers, pasta and on and on. I knew most of that was there, but I didn’t realize how hard it is stay under 6 grams, much less 0 grams.
9. You can do it, but it takes discipline!

So, I know that some of you have been following us and doing the SUGAR DETOX and I have some questions
1. Why did you decide to do a SUGAR DETOX?
2. What did you notice as far as changes to your body?
3. Did you lose weight?
4. Do you sleep better?
5. Do you feel more energetic?
6. Are you going to continue?
7. Would you do it again?

I’m not sure if you remember, but the MAIN REASON FOR SUGAR DETOX IS:
